Us artist spend a lot of time producing art for shows. Sometimes we stress out, go though anxiety, sacrifice time with family and friends, and neglect other money making opportunities, all to finish our art on time to hang it on a wall then sit back and hope our art connects with an audience. We have a great time during the opening. Then shows over, and it's just a memory.
As an artist and especially as a curator. I know for sure a lot of work goes into art shows. I feel like we as artist don't look back enough. Our past shows are just as important as our next show and worth being talked about and documented.
If no one else well, we will.
